have a sweet day

sweet...also the lemon tree is blooming next to stitching chair.....smells wonderful
and although there are plenty of  projects unfinished, I could not help myself and had to start a
sampler that  I ordered though ABC stitch therapy ....on sale!
Doubtful but will try to complete by the end of the Olympics....that will be my olympic goal.
of course i checked out 2 easy reads at the library
(m.c. beaton mysteries make me chuckle, agatha raisin is like watching ' i love lucy')
(and the white horse is a juvenile book, but sometimes those are the best told tales)
that will cut into stitching time
but the sun is finally shining and the birds are singing
hooray.....i think a little reading outdoors is in order

  1. Nice heart piece! I don't think there's anything wrong with starting something new when you have a WIP. Stitching is for pleasure, right? I like your new start!

  5. Sweet heartpiece!
I'll have to check out M.C.Beaton...always on the lookout for a good read! I've just read several of "American Girl"-books, my youngest came home with a few after she spent summer in Houston with Hubby, and he bought her even more...

Enjoy your sunny days:-) It's still too cold here to sit on the deck...maybe when the sun gets there later today?

  6. I've been browsing through your blog. I love all of your stitchery. Crafters never let the fact that they have other project going interfere with buying a new one, ha, ha. However, I'm starting to get to the point where I don't know that I can use all of the yarn I've stashed or the cross stitch kits I've bought in my life time.

  7. Pretty start! Goudge's The Little White Horse is one of my top-ten all time books! Is this your first read-through? I first read it when I was 7. :)
